Trivia
On the official SWEM coat document, Primrose is listed as a 'faded' chestnut skewbald. The 'faded' colouration is likely caused by Pangare; a coat trait that can result in pale hair on the underside of the body, legs and around the muzzle. It can occasionally extend to the flanks, chest, in front of the stifle and behind the elbows.
Skewbald is a term commonly used in the UK to identify brown and white Pinto horses with indeterminate white marking genetics (Tobiano, Overo, Splash, Sabino). Primrose appears to be a Tobiano, but could have other underlying white markings.
