This is a guide for players new to Star Worm Equestrian (Lite). If you need a mod installation guide, check out this instead.

Find horses naturally spawning in many biomes (if enabled) or summon one via COMMANDS .
Tame horses just like you would any Minecraft horse or donkey, but watch out for bucking!
Craft and equip a bridle and saddle to steer the horse when riding.
Use H to increase your gait (speed), and G to decrease.
Craft and equip horse armor to unlock special perks and protections for adventures.
Ride and jump your horse to increase skills for better stats and less refusals.
Heal your horse using HORSE HEAL POTION .

There are too many differences to note them all, but to summarize the significant differences:

Converting Horses cannot be converted via cantazarite potion (or any other potion).
Tack Less individual items, some "bundles" (saddle, blanket, girth + breast collar in one slot)
Care No hunger, thirst, pee or poo features.
Breeding No gestation (pregnancy delay) or options to customize cooldowns, breeding limits etc.
Configs Simplified configs with fewer customization options.
