Introduction

Lite horses are Minecraft "re-imagined" equestrian mods. Bigger, tougher and more realistic with moderately expanded functionality.

Obtaining

Lite does not support converting horses via cantazerite potion - this is only possible in the full SWEM mod. 

Horses can be obtained from:

  • Natural Spawning   CONFIGS LINK  
  • Breeding  TBC 
  • Spawn Egg 
  • Command /swemlite summon to view all valid coat options
Natural Spawns

Naturally spawning horses appear in many overworld biomes with herds of 1-5,5. commonly adults but occasionally foals. Each herdHerds uses onea single "color tag" (out1 of 7 possible)options) and spawn coats that shareuse thatthe tag,chosen tag. This usually resultingresults in somewhat similar coat types.

Wild horses are untamed until ridden by a player.

Spawn Eggs

Spawn eggs are a creative menu or command only item. It spawns one horse with a random coat variant and gender.

Summon Command

Lite does not support random coat option via commands. If you require a random option, use spawn eggs.

Summon commands require cheats enabled and relevant user permissions (multiplayer). 

  • Commands must use a valid coat ID
  • Only swem: IDs are visible if there is no valid community pack loaded
  • Choosing MALE or FEMALE is optional. If unspecified it is assigned a random gender.

 EXAMPLE:  /swemlite summon swem:helios_arishant OR  /swemlite summon swem:helios_arishant FEMALE

Appearance

Lite does not include any complex coat genetics, breeds or model variants (custom models excluded).

Behavior

Horses spendmay mostwalk ofaround theirwhen timenot inridden, idleand wandering,will occasionally withtrigger shaking,shake, scratchingscratch or tail flickingswish idle animations.

Unlike the "full" Star Worm Equestrian Mod, lite horses do notNOT eatengage in:

  • Grazing on grass blocks, grassy plants
  • Consuming hay bales or drink even if tamed so will not engage in any "mobbale griefing"blocks behaviorsfrom withother grassmods
  • Drinking from water sources or waterwaterlogged sources.

Horses are passive, but may retaliate if harmedharmed, or during taming attempts.taming. Bucking horses can cause harm to nearby playersentities and mobs.players. 

Horses can trigger a fatalFatal "buck off"offs" can occur if athey horse kickskick out at another horse (kicks back etc). It's not an intentional"intentional" risk but it iscan possible.happen!

Gender

Right-click a tamedtamed horseshorse to open theirthe inventory display.menu. The icon in the bottom right indicates gender and  TBC  breeding status.
