Crafting
English Saddle
An English Saddle can be crafted in 2 colors, black and brown.
Each Saddle requires 1 Tripwire Hook, 5 Refined Leather, and either 1 Black Dye or 1 Brown Dye.
Western Saddle
A Western Saddle can be crafted in all 16 base minecraft colors.
Each Saddle requires 1 TripwireIron Hook,Nugget, 7 Refined Leather, and 1 Corresponding Dye.
Adventure Saddle
An Adventure Saddle can only be crafted in one color.
The Saddle requires 1 Tripwire Hook and 7 Refined Leather.
Glow Adventure Saddle
A Glow Adventure Saddle is an upgraded Adventure Saddle.
The Saddle requires 1 Adventure Saddle and 2 Star Worms.
You can also turn special variant saddles (Emerald, Copper, Netherite) back into a glow saddle with 1 saddle + 1 glow worm.
USA Saddle
A USA Saddle is a special-variant saddle added to match the special-variant USA 
The USA saddle is currently missing a crafting recipe - this will be fixed ASAP. The saddle can still be acquired in creative.
Copper Saddle
A Copper Saddle is a special-variant saddle added to match the special-variant Copper Horse Armor.
The Saddle requires 1 Gold Ingot and either a Glow Adventure Saddle or any other special variant saddles (Emerald, Netherite).
Trivia
Copper is not available in SWEM, so currently the recipe requires gold instead. On upgrading to 1.18+ the recipe may change.
Emerald Saddle
An Emerald Saddle is a special-variant saddle added to match the special-variant Emerald Horse Armor.
The Saddle requires 1 Emerald and either a Glow Adventure Saddle or any other special variant saddles (Copper, Netherite).
Netherite Saddle
A Netherite Saddle is a special-variant saddle added to match the special-variant Netherite Horse Armor.
The Saddle requires 1 Netherite Ingot and either a Glow Adventure Saddle or any other special variant saddles (Copper, Emerald).
Usage
Saddles are usedpart of a tack set required to ride tamed SWEM Horses. AUsing Saddlea saddle is placedthe onthird tack item, and requires a SWEMblanket Horse(saddle by right-clicking with the Saddle in hand, or by opening the SWEM Horse's inventory and placing it in the Saddle inventory slot, by default a Blanket is requiredblanket) to be placedequipped. first.
Right can switchclick a Saddle by shift-right clicking thetamed SWEM Horse with a different Saddlesaddle in hand thanto equip it - or open the onehorse's presentGUI onmenu its(shift back.
+ right click with an empty hand) to place the item in the designated tack spot. If a horse already has a saddle on, you can easily 'hotswap' it for another by shift + right-clicking with the new saddle in hand.
By default the Tack-equip order for a SWEM Horse's tack isorder: Bridle or Halter,> Blanket, > Saddle, and> Girth Strap. TheseOptional: areBreast thecollar, requiredLeg Wraps, Horse Armor, Saddle Bag
Saddles do not offer any perks or buffs. You can use any saddle with any other riding tack pieces into ordermix English, Western & Adventure. The only exception is the Glow Adventure Saddle, which is required to properlyuse controlHorse Armor (full set of adventure armor), but once the armor is put on saddle can be 'hotswapped' out for different versions.
Girth Strap
A saddle requires a tamedGirth Strap to remain equipped - if there is no girth strap the saddle has a 20% chance of falling off every second. When a saddle falls off, the player will be dismounted.
When untacking, if the saddle is removed before the girth strap it will fall to the ground.
Breastcollar
When untacking, if the saddle is removed before the SWEMBreast Horse.collar it will fall to the ground.
