Crafting
English Blanket
An English Blanket can be crafted in all 16 base minecraft colors.
Each English Blanket requires 4 Carpets of the Corresponding Color and 1 Refined Leather.
Western Blanket
A Western Blanket can be crafted in all 16 base minecraft colors.
Each Western Blanket requires 5 Carpets of the Corresponding Color and 1 Refined Leather.
Adventure Blanket
An Adventure Blanket can only be crafted in one color.
The Blanket requires 8 Carpets(Any Color) and 1 Refined Leather.
Usage
Blankets are usedpart of a tack set required to ridecontrol (ride) tamed SWEM Horses. AUsing Blanketa blanket is placedthe second tack item that can be used following a bridle; by default you cannot place a blanket on unless the horse has a bridle or halter. A blanket is a necessary pre-requisite to using a saddle.
Right click a tamed SWEM Horse with a blanket in hand to equip it - or open the horse's GUI menu (shift + right click with an empty hand) to place the item in the designated tack spot. If a horse already has a blanket on, you can easily 'hotswap' it for another by shift + right-clicking with the Blanketnew blanket in hand,hand.
Tack-equip byorder: opening the SWEM Horse's inventory and placing it in the Blanket inventory slot. By default, a SWEM Horse has to have either a Bridle or Halter on before you can place a Blanket. You can switch a Blanket by shift-right clicking the SWEM Horse with a different Blanket in hand than the one present on its back.
By default the equip order for a SWEM Horse's tack is Bridle or Halter,> Blanket, > Saddle, and> Girth Strap. TheseOptional: areBreastcollar theand requiredLeg Wraps.
Blankets do not offer any perks or buffs, and you can use any blankets with any other riding tack pieces into ordermix English, Western & Adventure. The only exception is the Adventure Blanket is required to properly control a tameduse SWEMHorse Horse.Armor (full set of adventure armor), but once the armor is put on blankets can be 'hotswapped' out for different versions.
