Usage
(Up to date Dec 2022) The current needs system is broken. An improved immersive food/water feature is planned rather than 'patching' the old needs system. This will not be a quick fix and requires testing. It is planned to be incorporated to 1.16 and future 1.18 versions when it is stable.
Quality Bale
SWEM Horses can eat Quality Bales. The player can hand-feed themBales to thesatisfy horsestheir byhunger right-clickingneed. them, or the Quality BalesThese can be consumed by horses when:
Quality Bales are the most nutritious bale type - combining the values of Timothy and Alfalfa in to one hearty bale.
Timothy, Alfalfa & Oats
Other bale types were added later into development. Currently they cannot be fed to SWEM horses, but can still be placed into slow feeders or on the ground.
Storage
At the small cost of 1 string per bale, converting bushels into bales is a space efficient (inventory) way of storing dried forage. Alternately, the bales can be placed down as a physical stockpile of food for immersion of requiring space to store food for animal consumption and restocking when supply runs low.

Quality Bales can be placed in all three spatial dimensions, like vanilla logs, bone blocks, and hay bales.

Known Issues
[-] Newer bales (Alfalfa, Timothy, Oats) cannot be put into paddock feeders.
