Gender

Introduction

Gender is a data value assigned to all horses, even if untamed. It is part of a simplistic realism  non-functionalBREEDING  feature retained for roleplay purposes. It has no significance on gameplay.feature.

Identifying Gender

Gender is shown as an icon in the horse inventory for all tamed horses, and an icon next to any name tagged horse.

BreedingGender Potions

 TBC  Lite does not supportinclude breeding.infertility potions for geldings (or infertile mares). 

Gender can be changed at any time using  GENDER POTIONS . 

FoalsGameplay

Gender TBChas minimal impact on gameplay, with no gender-specific differences in appearance, behavior or functions. It is notonly possiblerelevant to obtain foalsBREEDING in survival.which Theyrequires a mare (female) and stallion (male) pair to produce a foal.

Additional 

Gender data can (1.0.0) only be summonedrevealed via commands.

Change # to the number of ticks until age up. 6000 is equal to 5 minutes. Use -999999999 for "permanent" foals.

Summon a foal with a specific coat using the command:

/summon swem:swem_horse ~ ~ ~ {Age: -#, Behaviors: [{Id: "swem:coat", Coat: "swem:foal_TYPE"}]}

Change # as above and add a valid coat entry for swem:foal_TYPEBehaviors[9]. Drop down to see all options (14) below.

Foal Coat Options

Each coat "tag" has two variants, or a total of 14 foal coat options.

Creamy
swem:foal_creamy_0_arishant

Brown
Output will show the gender icon of the horse, and the value swem:foal_brown_0_arishant1b
for female, or swem:foal_brown_1_arishant0b
 for male.

Dark Brown

Known Issues

You can report any mod issues to our bugs forum on Discord - please check for duplicate reports first! 

    Horses are functionally finite in survival, even with abundant natural spawn due to the missing breeding feature. Foals have a missing texture after becoming an adult due to missing coat roll functionality.
