# Tracker

**Description:** A tracker is an item that tells the location of the player's [SWEM horse](https://wiki.swequestrian.com/books/star-worm-equestrian-mod/page/swem-horse "SWEM Horse").

#### **Obtaining**

**Crafting** Trackers come in a single color.  
A tracker can be crafted with 1 [Shining Amethyst Shard](https://wiki.swequestrian.com/books/star-worm-equestrian-mod/page/amethyst), 2 Iron Bars OR Friendly Bars, 1 Enderpearl and 1 Redstone

#### **Usage**

Right click a tamed [SWEM Horse](https://wiki.swequestrian.com/books/star-worm-equestrian-mod/page/swem-horse) with a tracker to begin tracking it. A confirmation message will appear if successful.

Trackers are personal to you and your tracked horses, but not specific to each horse. You can have one tracker for several horses - if you were to lose that tracker, crafting another would hold the same data. You can right click the tracker at any time to display the last tracked coordinates of your tracked horse(s). If you have multiple tracked horses, you will see multiple coordinates. If those horses are named, the tracker will specify their name and coordinates so you can distinguish between them.

To remove a horse from your tracker, shift and right click the horse with (any) tracker. A confirmation message will appear if successful. Not holding shift will cause you to mount the horse instead.

- **\[-\]** Deceased or transferred horses info remains and cannot be reset if they cannot be accessed to unbind the tracker.
