Obtaining Crafting Riding Helmets come in a single (white) color from crafting, but can be infinitely dyed after. A riding helmet can be crafted with 1 Iron Ingot, 1 Dried Kelp, 1 Leather, 1 Iron Nugget and 1 String. Dye Riding Hats Riding Helmets can be dyed almost any color you can imagine - much the same way leather armor can be dyed. However, riding helmets have a dual color slot, meaning you can dye both the main body of the helmet and the peak (brim) as well.  To dye the primary color (body) of the helmet, place dye in any of the left column slots (slot 1, 4, 7) - you can use multiple dye at any one time. When dyeing, the output item image will reflect the color changes based on combinations of dye. Additional dye can be added in stages, even after recolored the first time. To dye the secondary color (brim) of the helmet, place dye in any of the left column slots (slot 3, 4, 7) - you can use multiple dye at any one time. When dyeing, the output item image will reflect the color changes based on combinations of dye - for the secondary color this is a much subtler effect on the item outline, it is best seen when placed down. Additional dye can be added in stages, even after recolored the first time. Usage Armor As well as a functional hat that can be worn by the player, riding helmets add a small armor bonus in line with Minecraft's leather hat values (+1 armor). Like normal helmets, the hat can take damage during combat and will eventually need to be replaced or repaired by combining with a new riding hat in an anvil to keep any enchantments if required. Placement Riding Helmets can be placed into the world in a variety of ways: Placed on an armor stand Placed on a horizontal block surface (ie on top of a crafting table) Placed on a vertical block surface (ie on a wall) Once placed, helmets can be quickly picked up again with a single left click to break from their placed position, or right click to reclaim from an armor stand. In creative, using the pick block key (scroll button) will select the helmet with all its data. Remove Dyes Helmets can be wiped clean of their dye by right-clicking on a cauldron with water to wash away the current color settings. This will return the helmet to it's default (white) color, ready to be redyed.  Enchanting Riding Helmets can be enchanted like any other helmets. Amethyst Shield Rarity color: Common Durability: 506 Renewable: Yes Stackable: Yes (64) Obtaining Crafting  Amethyst Shields are crafted with 6 Shining Amethyst Shards and 1 Netherite Shield. Usage By holding right click the player can raise the amethyst shield. After five game ticks, or 0.25 seconds, this makes attacks in front of the player deal no damage, as they are blocked. Attacks of three damage or more deal equal durability damage.  When the shield is held in the main or off-hand, it offers extra health . Provided the player is not starving, holding an Amethyst shield will gradually increase health up to an extra row of heart (additional 10 hearts - 20 HP). This increase is slow if the player has less than full food-saturation. (When fully fed, 0.5 hearts are gained ~1second). When unequipping the shield, all extra hearts will be instantly lost and cannot be returned until the item is re-equipped (with the normal delay to build up those hearts which varies with food). Unequipping the shield has a visual effect similar to taking damage, but the player does not sustain damage from doing so. Usage Amethyst bows are high-damage ranged weapons that have an effect similar to Minecraft's  Infinity enchantment - allowing players to shoot endless arrows. However, unlike Infinity the Amethyst bow does not require a player to have at least one arrow in their inventory for the effect to work.  To shoot an arrow, draw the bow back by holding right-click. A fully-charged arrow (drawn back for around 3 seconds) deals more damage than one that is shot quickly (not fully charged).  Amethyst bows do not currently use special/potion effect arrows. Having one in the player's inventory will not be used, nor will the arrows shot have any additional effects or damage.  Known Issues If you find an issue, please report it to our bugs channel on  Discord . While a little over-powered compared to basegame weapons, it is the perfect companion for the novice explorer or those with a challenging PVE survival modpack. Left-clicking with the sword inflicts damage upon mobs and players. For many mobs the Amethyst Sword is a 1-2 hit kill. Unlike the Amethyst Scythe , Longswords will not break blocks like grass or flowers even if a strike intersects their hitbox.  Enchanting Amethyst Longswords cannot be used in an enchanting table, but can be combined with enchanting books in an anvil (vanilla or cantazarite). Repair Each time the sword damages a player or mob, the sword's durability is decreased by one. The sword can destroy boats and minecarts with one hit, and without lowering the durability. Usage Amethyst Scythes are high-damage weapons. While a little over-powered, it is the perfect companion for the novice explorer or those with a challenging PVE survival modpack. Left-clicking with the scythe inflicts damage upon mobs and players. For many mobs the Amethyst Sword is a 1-2 hit kill. Unlike the Amethyst Longsword , Scythes will break blocks like grass or flowers if a strike intersects their hitbox. Amethyst Scythes cannot be used in an enchanting table, but can be combined with enchanting books in an anvil (vanilla or cantazarite). Repair Each time the Scythe damages a player or mob, the item's durability is decreased by one. The sword can destroy boats and minecarts with one hit, and without lowering the durability. The Amethyst Scythe can be repaired with Cantazarite  using a  Cantazarite Anvil . Known Issues If you find an issue, please report it to our bugs channel on  Discord .
